Remembering the past and cherishing golden memories!
The Filipino Academy organized a memorable in the Bangkota Philippine Pavilion Plaza at Expo 2020, participated by management and staff headed by the CEO Mrs. Joy F. Hapinat on 24th of November 2021.
The activities included participation of many artists in music and canvas painting it was a great celebration of arts and music which Filipinos are fond about. In addition, It was evening of a reliving the cultural values and traditional habits. Most favorite was the traditional “Harana” serenading the bride to be, one of the management staff member of the Filipino Academy. The funniest activity was the old time favorite games like “Patintero normally played during full moon in the yard. The event was also participated by the visiting artists from University of Santo Thomas.
Added featured was the C.O.D.A. music band who played 70’s and latest pop music. Everyone has had a truly memorable experience to treasure. Excitingly concluded by traditional Filipino food kindly sponsored by Bangkota Philippines Pavilion management.
We hope to be given this amazing opportunity again to contribute to the Bangkota Philippines Pavilion activities during Expo.
