The Filipino Academy, CEO Ms. Joyleen Hapinat, Management and students have attended the 2nd series of the Apex Speaker (E-BASS) in the Bangkota, the Philippines Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 on 12th of December 2021. The Program featured “Ugnayan: Connected by the seas, sharing one vision for people and nature, hosted by the Office of Philippines Ambassador to the UAE, Her Excellency Hjayceelyn M. Quintana, in collaboration with the Philippines Partnership Circle led by Ms. Marlene Murphy, President and with Guest Speaker Dr. Theresa Mundita S. Lim, Executive Director of ASEAN Center for Biodiversity.
The Program has highlighted the Philippines key role in preserving marine biodiversity in the world. The event was attended by several personalities coming from Poland, Mexico, India and the Filipino Community as well as Expo representatives and media.
